1. Who we are
Founder Compass is a solo strategy consultancy that helps international founders build evidence-led business cases for the UK Innovator Founder route. This page explains how we handle information collected through foundercompass.co.
2. What this website collects
This website has no user accounts, no login and no database. The enquiry form on the home page is a front-end demonstration only: what you type stays in your browser and is not transmitted to a server or stored by us.
Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and requested page) for security and reliability purposes.
3. Information you send us directly
If you contact us by email or book a call, we hold what you choose to share — typically your name, email address and a description of your venture — so we can reply and assess whether an engagement is a good fit.
4. How we use information
To respond to enquiries, to scope and deliver consultancy engagements, and to keep records required for accounting and tax. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share client material with endorsing bodies or any third party without your written instruction.
5. Client confidentiality
Business plans, financial models, research and any other material shared during an engagement are treated as confidential and used only to deliver that engagement.
6. Retention
Enquiry correspondence is kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Engagement records are kept for as long as required by law, then deleted.
7. Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
